TRANQUILITY DIVE RESORT

Tranquility caters for both day guests and also for those who want to stay overnight on the Island.

We are located on the Shores of Havanah Harbour and have a 114 meter drop-off straight in front of the resort and together with many other different private dive sites on our customary owners reefs including beautiful coral gardens, drift, thermal vents, stunning reefs, two wrecks, one in 18 meters and one in 40 meters, caves, Lava tube swim-throughs and a turtle site.

We also do full day trips to Hat Island regularly which includes two dives and lunch on board.

SCUBA training is available from beginner through to Dive Master.

The main boat for operations is Island Diver which can take up to 15 divers and has a toilet and small galley on board. There is a side entry and rear platform for access.

Tranquillity has a dive shop in town where full diving accessories and gear is available. We have our hire equipment available on the island as well.

We also have a turtle conservation project which is a voluntary project where hatchling Hawksbill turtles are raised to one year then tagged and released.

Day trips include transfers to and from the Island, two dives and lunch. We pick up from hotels in Port Vila and surrounds.

Overnight guests can book into our Eco tourism style of accommodation; special dive packages are also available.

We have eight fare’s (small island style buildings with thatch roof.) Two of which are with en-suite facilities with the rest having separate private bathrooms. All rooms are screened and beds have Mosquito nets. They are right on the beach and have their own little private beach area in front including a fire place. They are also set in amongst the Island vegetation for privacy. Soft tech is used where possible with solar lighting and use of waste energy recycling.

In addition to diving we also have other activities to make your stay with us more diverse and enjoyable. These include Kayaking to our hidden coves, also bushwalks to several beaches and caves or just plain relaxing. Guests staying longer can also join a sister ship, Coongoola for a non-diving day with Beach BBQ on a beautiful white sandy beach

Meals are served in our beach house restaurant which is the centre point of your stay with us. Lots of long diving stories have passed over its big timber slab table. We have a 7 day revolving menu which is diverse and delicious. We can also cater for vegetarians and guests with allergies providing we are notified in advance. Lunch is normally a BBQ with lots of naturally organic salads and vegies.
